Biodegradable and zero waste bamboo charcoal water filters. Reusable, then compostable. Suitable for a 1 litre jug of water. A pack of 8 in a natural cotton bag.
Place the filters in jug or bottle filled with tap water and they will slowly filter out impurities such as chlorine and chloramines. Pour some of your filtered water into a reusable bottle and off you go!
After 2 months of use the filters can be reused in mouldy kitchen and bathroom corners as they remove moisture from damp areas. Or placed in the fridge to keep produce fresh and help remove smells.
1. Wash in running water to remove powder (do not use detergent). 2. Boil for 10 mins in a pan of water to sterilise and allow to dry. 3. Place in a jug and fill with tap water. 4. Leave for 8 hours or more for best results at room temperature or in the fridge. 5. Re-sterilise once a week by repeating step 2. 6. Replace with new charcoal after 2 months approx.
